What does “total price” mean in Yoshiwara? How to read the charges

When looking at Yoshiwara prices for the first time, you may wonder whether the bathing fee and the total price are the same, and how much you need to prepare.
“Total price” means the amount actually payable, including not only the bathing fee but also service fees and any charges associated with choosing a particular person. The breakdown and presentation vary by establishment. Before visiting, confirm the total for the arrangements you want.
The bathing fee is not necessarily the total
The first price shown on an official website may cover only the bathing fee. The total may vary with the service plan, the person selected and the selection category. Check the total for your particular arrangements rather than relying on one displayed figure.
Three things to check before a visit
- The total for your chosen person, service plan and selection category.
- The available time and availability on your preferred date.
- How to get there, including any transfer service.
Checking these together helps you understand the visit as well as the price. It is fine to ask about unfamiliar terms.

How to check Chocolat's total prices
Chocolat lists bathing fees from ¥27,500. The total differs according to the person, service plan and selection category. Individual profiles show the current total for 120 minutes.
